Aloha and Happy New Year!

Barton and Krista had a great deal of stress in their lives. When Barton wanted to unwind, one his favorite places to do it was Hawaii. Barton loved the islands ever since his many stopovers during his trips to the Marianas Islands in the early 1980's when he was trying to land investment business with the corrupt local government officials. One trip to Hawaii led to the break-up of his first engagement when his fiance' found evidence of his having taken a trip there with another woman.

Barton and Krista visited Hawaii for a vacation over New Years, 2003. Despite the intense financial stresses of this period, Barton always looked relaxed when traveling with Krista.
